This Privacy Policy explains how AMG Innovation ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects information when you use this website or our mobile application, PadhAI (together, the "Services").
1. Information We Collect
When you create an account and use PadhAI, we collect:
- Account information: your mobile number (used for OTP-based login), name, class, board and preferred language
- Usage content: the homework questions you ask and the answers you receive, stored in your account history
- Subscription information: your plan type and subscription status
2. Photos Are Not Stored
If you use the camera or gallery to ask a question, the photo is sent securely for processing only. We do not permanently store your photos. Photos are discarded immediately after the question is understood and answered — only the resulting text (your question and the answer) is saved to your history.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and personalise the homework-help experience
- To save your question history so you can revisit past answers
- To verify subscription purchases and manage your plan
- To improve the quality and reliability of our Services
4. Where Your Data Is Stored
Your account data and question history are stored using Google Firebase (Google Cloud infrastructure), with access restricted to your authenticated account.
5. Third-Party Services We Use
- Anthropic (Claude AI): used to generate answers to the questions you ask. Your question text is sent to Anthropic's API for processing.
- Google Play (billing): subscriptions are purchased through Google Play. Your payment details are handled by Google and are not seen or stored by us.
- RevenueCat: used to verify and manage subscription purchases. It receives your account's user ID and your subscription and purchase information (such as plan, purchase and renewal dates), but not your payment card or bank details.
- Google Firebase: used for account authentication, data storage and app notifications.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account and question history for as long as your account remains active. If you request deletion, we remove your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal, tax or fraud-prevention purposes.

8. Children's Privacy
PadhAI is designed for use by school students, typically with the awareness of a parent or guardian. We collect the minimum information necessary to provide the Service and do not knowingly use children's data for advertising purposes.
9. Security
We use industry-standard measures — including encrypted data transfer and access-controlled databases — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data using commercially reasonable safeguards.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
